Recovery plans??

I see use write and ask about recovery plans but what do you actually write? Just about attending meetings and similar things. Sorry if it's a stupid question just I'm not very good at these types of things

Have you read through Dee's thread about making a plan? That could be a good place to start... http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...ery-plans.html

No. It takes a while. It gets easier as you find the areas / sub-forums which suit us best.

Have you thought about trying AA or similar for support?

I have tried AA before but always find myself stop going after a month thinking i can do it myself. I struggle with the higher power stuff and IV stopped going that many times i feel they know I'm not serious about it

I think the most important part of any plan is about what to do in early recovery when the cravings hit. Try to ensure that you have things to hand that require concentration, this helps nullify the cravings
