Today my supervisor called me and asked me to go to her office to sign my annual leave form.
At first I was like "oh jeez". I hate dealing with her because I find her incredibly intimidating.
I popped by her office and thought I would be in and out but she asked me to close the door and sit down.
At this point I was "oh God".
So she said "this is your performance review. I think you are getting on well. The usual choices on this form are good, satisfactory and not satisfactory but I have changed all of yours to very good if that's ok?" I think the usual questions were there such as "works well with others, communication" and blah blah.
I was happy enough with that so I signed the form and left after we discussed my Christmas break.
I went back to the girls and I mentioned it briefly. One of them said that she asked her a while ago how I'm getting on and she said "she's doing brilliantly". Then the other one said "you should not be concerned that your contract is up in December. More than likely now the job is yours for as long as you want to stay".
So that was nice. I was ok with that.

Good to see you Endgame and Middle
Someone spilled about 20 litres of diesel fuel just outside the curing bay today, people have been trying to get rid of the smell - diesel oil STINKS! God knows what it must do to our lungs
Hey ho, Friday hometime so all is well

Hi, weekenders.
I had an uber crazy day at work. I faced my boss a few times.
I panicked before making a couple of phone calls, but I made them.
I bought a pumpkin and going to try my very first pumpkin carving.
If my experiment is not too horrible, I will post pics)

Well, we didn't get to see Antique Archaeology.
We entered the listed address into the GPS, and we went where it said--but we didn't see that number on the street--plus, there was no parking.
Surely it was the wrong address, but by the time we realized we were in the wrong place, the powers that be were feeling claustrophobic with downtown, so we went back to the suburbs to eat lunch.

I had a go at pumpkin carving last year MB - mine was not very scary, looked more like a person who has just trodden on a piece of Lego.
Gilmer that's a shame about the archeology, I hope lunch was some consolation
Off to Crazy Golf later as ever
