Oh and Brain, I did see your tip on copy and paste! So much easier than the other way thanks!!

Speaking of Burma Shave, just read a book where a Burma Shave ad was referenced! I immediately thought of y'all!

Well today I bought 4 new books. I got paid and I bought some "treats" as well as "treating" myself to a facial on Saturday. It's better than buying 4 bottles of wine. Plus it's my money and I worked hard for it.
I did some of my colleagues typing by accident today so she did a few letters of mine in return. Our line manager popped around "casually". My colleague told her that "Tetra is very good. She's doing all the typing and I had to steal some off her!"

So tomorrow I'm meeting a friend for lunch. Saturday I am going to the beauty salon and I might have a date. Sunday I'm going to meet another friend to walk her dog and have a cup of coffee. I also took Saoutchik's advice and scheduled a driving lesson for next Tuesday after work. It's best for me to keep busy I think. I used to go out with a guy who told me "I never met anyone who thinks as much as you".

I saw this picture online and it made me giggle and think of my line manager...

Residents meeting in the Claddagh Basin...

I do live in a picturesque part of the world and for that I'm grateful tonight.

I've started my Gratitude Journal again...

Well done gracie

Tetra you seem to have an action packed weekend ahead

Well the Saoutchik standard in the form of the ten pounds I had on Germany to when the Euros has been lowered by France, still the home nation reaching the final is no bad thing

A quick glance at my watch shows it to be reading 10 minutes to 6 meaning i've put it on upside down again. Time for bed soon

60 days is awesome, Ladyblue!

Those are beautiful pictures, Tetra!

I'm winding down my second (non-consecutive) day off this week. We've had rain showers and gray skies all day. My wife will be getting home from work soon and take over the computer for her Facebook stuff. Then I'll go upstairs and do my chore for the day: fix a toilet . The handle has been connected to the flapper with a Zip-tie, which keeps breaking; there are a couple other problems so I am just going to replace the whole flush mechanism--I hope...

I'm here- exhausted.
I think I like it better when my friends are in their own cities haha

I hate the way this song makes me feel- nostalgic, regretful, longing.
But I love that it makes me feel enough that I get uncomfortable listening to it.
The SOA means nothing, I was just looking for the song

Well, the amusement never ends. Today, both cell phones quit working. The changeover from one debit card to another freaked them out. Two hours online clearing up all that. Good times!

What a great thread. Music has been a big part of my life. I remember when I heard first the below song I was so entranced by it I bought the 45. Hmmm, kind of dating myself there aren't I? Anyway, my parents and brother chipped in and bought me a stereo system that Christmas and I bought the entire album. I played this song over and over again, although the whole album is fantastic.

I want to dedicate this song to my sobriety because the words accurately describe how I feel about getting out from under the clutches of alcohol.

Great photos, Tetra!
Keep 'em coming.

Hi Trach.
Don't feel so bad.
Lost my phone and newest
Rx sunglasses to Mr. Limpet,
last Thursday. Expensive day on the sea.
Hopefully a tuna can call 911 and utilize my corrective lenses.

Tetra, you have a knack for being where great pictures are. Maybe you should take advantage of that. Try local newspapers and magazines for places to sell photos.
