Melina, I think we are rehashing this aren't we? The Rubester is about right. You need time away to reset. You are hanging on to something. Near the end you couldn't wait to get away - except for the son. It was advised months ago to make a clean break. The animosity is not worth it, for either of you. Time to chill.

Ok everyone. It's time to head out for the train. The sky appears to be getting darker so I imagine that it will start raining the second I step outside. Umbrella is in order.

Then yoga tonight. I haven't been in a couple of weeks and I'm noticing that I'm not as bendy as I was. Time to get back into that particular routine.

Paperwork. I have to fill out some paperwork for kids' school tonight. My son has been pestering me about it which is highly unusual so his teacher must have been bugging him about it.

See you all on the other side. Of my commute, that is. Or maybe I'll look at my phone on the train.

Math nerd sounds pretty cool Bodhi.

Thank you everyone for all your advice and support. I'm going to do exactly what you're saying and cut off all contact.

I'm finally going to take that step. Whew. Scary stuff.

Thank you.

made a couple burgers on the grill, and chicken thighs marinated in eyetalian dressing - real hi level cooking at it's finest. Added cayenne pepper of course.

Which reminds me, after I chased away mr rabbit, I took a dried cayenne pepper out to the dig and broke it all around. Step 1. And I won't even mention the chipmunk that is making holes all around the yard - too late...

It's war I tell ya, war!

Imagine what archeologists of the future are going to say about us. They gonna confused as all hell. Most likely it will be aliens and when they try to figure out what was going on here i the 21st century and beyond, they'll just just shake their heads, or whatever they have that their thoughts emanate from...

Imagine finding a lone picnic table buried deep below the rubble and they spend time trying to figure out what the hell JsBodhi's initial mean....
Or the graffiti... we are one whacked civilization...

Hugs, Melina.

I don't think there's anything I can add to the wise counsel you've received here. I can offer empathy.

It's hard to be lonely. I know, honey. And, as I learned at the dinner with *him* a couple weeks ago, there is territory between the heart and the brain that feels like a circular path, one strewn with memories and yearnings at odds with the sensibilities about what is best for us.

Evening troops!

The way you all explained this thread earlier - that was some hell of a new level of amazeballness.

Take care SUID: I hope you get through the month ok. Whatever it is, it's temporary.

I would not be able to add to the wise counsel you have received already Melina. You are on a forward trajectory now. Beware self sabotage.

Glad you are returning to yoga Ruby. I like to read when you are taking care of yourself.

Lots of other posts I would like to respond too but my brain is mush now. Sorry.

Junior is going for his first swimming lesson in the morning. It's a money making racket, but what the hell!

Good day today in terms of adulting. A few pieces in the game moved forward a notch.

B

I am experiencing that circular path right now. Yes, guy friend is communicating the true nature of his feelings now and I'm all confused.

Oh, Marty. That must be painful.

One thought: Guy friend has had a *very* long time to communicate the true nature of his feelings. Now that there's a prospect of you being happy with someone else, he gets around to it?

Does the adage "day late and a dollar short" come to mind?
