Day 17 check-in here! I also took a nap which will wreck my bed time but I have been soooo tired lately. I think I may have bored myself to sleep! Had a relaxing weekend planned with nothing to do but I couldn't relax at all! Cleaned all day to just stay busy....I guess this is "normal" at this point?

That's a great shot Tetra!!! The peir you are looking at is a great spot I have stood many times. You are looking up at the city as compared to me looking out. To the left is a outdoor place called the port hole. To the right in between that spot and the next peir I took this pic. The run down fishing shacks. Sea gulls.. All squawking.
Ah yes... And that boat in your pic. Casablanca Crusies. They have live bands and drinking Crusies. You can hear them hooting and hollaring as they sail off at sunset. I always cringing thinking who wants to be trapped drinking on a boat with a live band so loud you could hear them across the bay... LOL

aw Ken... sad really...
I turned on the tube and tried to find game of thrones - netflix don't got it, so I don't neither... there was some other series about the popedom and rome and scandal in the 1400's... I had episode 1 on and pretty much got the gist of it, but I was plucking on the mando the entire hour it was on, it was background tv - multi-tasking
today's burger offering, had sliced yellow bell pepper steamed on top then covered with some pepper jack cheese, the toasted sandwich round had yellow mustard smeared on one slice then covered in lettuce then burger and top - interesting tastes - worked really well... wish I had another

missus exclaimed, "it's cold out. it's only 10." yeah and the wind is whippin and it's supposed to go down to 7 tonight. stupid summer is correct...

Checking in.
Sober and fine- just trying to work through the post drinking anxiety and that sense of impending doom even though everything is fine.
I call it " the fear" heard that somewhere and it stuck.
Just trying to get through simple chores like cleaning my house, getting groceries, cleaning out car etc.
Date went really well with math nerd, but unusual.
Never had a date like that before.
I met up with him last night around 9 pm- we stayed up through the entire night until 11 am talking- yes ONLY talking.
Zero sleep for either of us.
What is that? Over 12 hours of just talking.
He has a tragic past which is quite fascinating, he's also extremely bright, clever and funny.
Dark humour.
I guess we just had a lot to talk about.
Anyway, I slept about 2 hours this afternoon and I'm just trying to get my stuff done.
I'll be back- time to do my dishes

Just got home from hanging at the supper club with my friends. I laughed so much and so hard that my face hurts. 
I don't need alcohol to have a good time. I'm so grateful that I can go have a great time with friends, come home sober and wake up hangover-free on a Monday - go to work rested and ready to go. Life is good.
