Shall I? I shall...

Once again, I was jez doin' a Drive By here because I wanted to post this fab Link below for max visibility on this continuing Thread.

Wizards with all sorts of Computer and Audio Gear at their disposal lovingly restore old Music for Downloads. A Warehouse-full of Music, as the Story goes; left behind by SF Concert Promoter Bill Graham. There's Hi Rez Versions available, too.

Wolfgang's Vault

Very sorry to hear about your Grandmother, BigS. Peace be with all of you.

Thanks for the new thread Dee

Congratulations er Brynn, Mesa?

I'm in bed but I can hear daughter 2 has returned, with at least one friend - hope they don't sit there gossiping for hours. I wasn't asleep but I was hoping to get some soon

Sao ~

Good Luck with that. A Stat I read long ago - and believe - is that Women use ~7,500 Words/Day. Men? More like ~1,500/Day.

Brynn is already 1 Word up on me.-)

Ha good luck with that Sao! Girls can't help but talk! There's so much to say and so little time!!

Mesa's little stat about words makes me wonder....the guys on the weekender thread 'talk' quite a bit. Do y'all talk a lot IRL? Just curious...

Sorry Mesa - great tho the Wolfgang's Vaults site is, it's a commercial one under our rules so I had to de-link it.

Ah, very, very sorry. I was thinking only of the Music aspect w/Blinders on.

There's a first time for everything, and breaking that particular Rule was it for me.

TY.

I'm having a lazy evening with a sweet box of Russell Stover chocolates. ...they were my mother's favorites and caught my eye in the store the other day. A real treat.

Thanks for the support, gang. I appreciate you all helping me feel less alone as I pack for what will be an emotional journey. Thanks for the candle, Tetra! I'm not sure if you can light a fire with all that water, but I certainly appreciate it.

Sorry about your grandma, BigS. I hope she passes comfortably. And it's great you can be there as support and comfort for your mom. Pack your long johns. It's truly winter here now.

Just got back from the watering hole/supper club I frequent. I had a nice time chatting with friends who happened to be there having dinner. Don wasn't there. It reminded me I do have other friends and that I don't have to be dependent on him. Usually we would hang out every Tuesday and Thursday - I leave the house so my ex can spend time with our son on those evenings. We did clear some things up last week and back in friend zone - but the whole experience taught me a very important lesson. I go into this renewed friendship with a great deal of caution and self-protection. Anyway, it's nice to be able to have other friends and things to do. I needed a kick in the butt to jump-start the process of being less dependent on him.
