Bit wobbly.
Hi all,
I'm on day 124, and for the past couple of days I've been struggling. Been under a lot of stress and while I've been focused on that, the AV has snuck in the back door, and it's STRONG sometimes.
I don't want to start day 1 again. I'm not sure I could start again. So I'm putting this here for some kind of accountability. It's nearly midnight here so I guarantee I won't drink today

Focus on the reasons you needed/wanted to rid your life of alcohol. Think about the good that has happened already - for you, your family, your health, your budget... Think about the damage that lurks in drunkenness that you want to, and can, avoid.
You can do this! YOU are worth it!
You are doing so well! It's great that you are safe for today, so that you can get up sober and stronger tomorrow!
Be well!

Newbies like me (Day 18) are looking for you to show us the way! You're a veteran, you know it will pass and tomorrow will be a new day.
Sorry to put pressure on you, but you said you wanted some accountability

Hi Carver
with the way you ratted your AV out I think you'll get through this.
Stress is a problem for a lot of people, alcoholic or not. There are some good ideas here I think?

Hi All, thank you again for your quick responses, they really helped.
Today I still have the same stress going on but I'm stronger to deal with them sober. I'm not out of the woods yet, but I can do this with such great support.
(Thanks Dee for the links, very useful stuff. Glad to see you back. I hope you're feeling better)

Greart job shutting your AV down, Carver.
Times like last night are difficult but every time you power through, the stronger you become.
Glad you posted about it, Carver. I'm sure your AV hated that.
