Get support here! Weekender October 23 until...
Tetra, I broke my toe when I was drinking - kicked my footstool. I decided to just stay off it and keep drinking. Now it's a half inch shorter than it was and it's crooked. Or, more crooked. My foot was black and blue for a long time and I couldn't walk on it.
I can't believe the pumpkin pie is gone. I've been on a sugar kick for a week. This has to stop. It's too early for holiday eating.
To the showers and dinner.
Beep beep, make room for one more! Crazy busy at work this week, should be one more doozy tomorrow. Breaking out the truck and heading to the beach tomorrow. Leaving at 3pm with a small backpack and my ladyfriend. A no-frills room with a palm-thatched roof awaits. Looking forward to some sun, sand and seawater, will be nice to get away from this mountain chill!
Awww......It's a match made in heaven. I'm so glad to have known you both before the 'I do's'. It's almost like all the weekenders had a part in bringing y'all together!
And y'all both have such simple taste.
Venecia....good thoughts and positive vibes going out to you.

Dinner at Red Lobster. Never realized how mediocre their food is until I ate there sober this afternoon. They have great drinks. The only drink I had was an Alka Seltzer afterwards
The appetite is back. Still can't eat Breakfast though.
Happy, clear-headed Friday to all.

Welcome dobiegirl!!!!
I remember my first sober weekend and it was an amazing feeling. I had lots of trouble spots but as you learn how to live sober again things get a bit easier.
What are your plans? What support do you have in place? Keep us posted on how you are doing!!!

My husband is totally on board for me and is being super supportive. I'm not worried about drinking, I'm just a still a little sad that I've had to give up my wine. I can tell you though, I will really enjoy waking up with no hangover!!!
Hmmm we should consider venues...I am fond of diners but if we have a destination wedding of course we would do local cuisine. Perhaps Dee's place??
I am thinking a nice satin lavender or that 80's mauve for bridal party dresses and of course cumberbunds for the men.

Tough day
Another one just like it tomorrow.
We had Chinese takeout for dinner. I didn't even enjoy it.
It sucks to hustle and work your butt off for debts owed. One day this will be a thing of the past. The debt-free zone seems unreachable, but I know it can be done. I am determined to do it!
Just a bit of a grouch tonight.

Three of my bridesmaid gigs were in the '80s: Pepto Bismol pink, Comet green and Crayola Periwinkle.
SP, I hope you feel better soon. You'll reach your goals, particularly living a sober life. Perhaps a little wedding cake to lift your spirits?
Global sober bash at Dee's. I'd go.
