Hello Sunday morning. Nice to see you.. And I'm not sick or having a panic attack.. Awesome.

Raining today.

I'm making a fairy house out of a bird house today... And that's about it..

Weasel, what happened to your sandwich? It sounded so delicious.
Lazy day here in HaF world...watching movies and enjoying not having to do anything. My kind of day. If I was drinking, it would be an ugly day.

London Broil
Finland provolone
arugula
rice crisps
nice weather
Lmfao..... Ok...
* London broil... What LB said....
* Finlandia is a brand of cheese. I really like that brand and they make a wonderful provolone cheese.
* Arugula if a peppery leaf that makes a very tasty salad and works very well on sandwiches due to a stronger flavor than lettuce.
* Rice crisps or puffed triangles made from rice something like a tortilla chip. I like the sea salted kind.

Nice weather is what we are experiencing in large amounts this summer. Really nice.

So I decided to take a drive. I often pass the Portland Observatory and always wanted to go to the top. I saw people at the top and swerved in to get a looksy. $10 later I spent 40 minutes with a young man passionate about the all wood structure built in the early 1800. It was designed to spot ships in tha far off distance as it took hours to navigate the Casco bay islands and into Portland harbor. They would fly flags at the top of the observatory in order to tell those on the waterfront what ships would be arriving and what they would have on board for trade. Quite interesting.

I sound a lot like LB at the moment.

I don't know.... Sad really. Hmmmm......

But I shall try again. Might have been the bread. Yeah.... Let's blame the bread.

Speaking of arugula I grew some random greens in my garden last year. I'd never had arugula and ate some. I though I had poisoned myself with a weed as its spicy. Love it now.

Some rice crisps are ok and some taste like cardboard. Trader Joe's soy flavored ones are ok. Going there today! Field trip to the big city as the nearest one is 25 miles away.

New fridge here. Change is hard. Big inside and out but I'm not super keen on the freezer. Bottom freezer with pull out drawer.

Bambi Mac? Could be Brain's stripper name. I've found multiple boxes of Mac around the house. I'll send you some.

House a mess. Relaxing.

Rocket I know and love, but this fine weather you are all describing is still a mystery to me.

Just back from grocery shopping. It was nice going later as was very quiet. Other than that, got nothing done today. Very fatigued and unmotivated.

Started that series Humans. Its a channel 4/ AMC remake of a swedish tv series. Elements of blade runner and Asimov wrapped in a family/morality tale. It's rather good if anyone is looking for something new to start.

Might do a little housework whilst listening to some BBC podcasts, free and legal to download, on any topic imaginable.

Ruby.. my stripper name is Brain Tantrum as if you didn't know.

The chile mac is done. Over cooked the mac, flavor is so-so. I give it a C-. Maybe because it is completely sugar free so it doesn't have that store bought sweetness to the chile. But I left some things out. Can always touch it up later. But it makes a turd as they say.

Weasel, you are starting to sound like me? Congratulations!

Yes, I was amazed at Casco Bay. It is quite the navigational nightmare for tall ships and even modern vessels. Like the time Portland wrecked their new fire boat attempting to rescue some knucklehead on a small fishing boat. Plus the coast guard also damaged a vessel in that one.

Speaking of Casco Bay, my wife made a comment a week later that she didn't realize there were sharks swimming where she was paddling her kayak or she wouldn't have made the trip. Or she would have been "more careful". Not sure how you'd pull that one off honey. Next time she takes a can of bear spray with her or shark repellant...

Speaking of stripper names. I was told it is your first pet and the first street you ever lived on. If that is the case, my stripper name would be Webster Kensington.
Anyone else care to share.

I don't remember my first pet. But I do know the first pet I remember, lol. Also I don't know the first street I lived on but I do know the first neighborhood. So I'll improvise.

Little Miss Ruby has been sobbing for a good half hour now over our failed attempts at teaching her to ride a bike.
