Are you disappointed because you only got one?

Saw the "shrink" this afternoon. He told me that last time he was gonna tell me to just go and enjoy life. I felt the same. We shook hands, no hard feelings. No way was I gonna pay to fascinate this guy for an hour. I used up the 3 free visits.

Stopped at the depot and picked up some plants for around the mailbox.. Lady in the plant section is gonna trade me golden rasbetty shoots for some daffodils I need to dig up. I am committed to work outside today.

[QUOTE=happyandfree;5352829]Did you see the hats in the audience at the Kentucky Derby? /QUOTE]

No, but I saw Justin Beaver in the audience at the fights. He was quite pretty.

Enjoy your workout Michelle

Bieber - he's a grizzled veteran now, he should stick to egging his neighbours house

Hey guys,

My malady is finally lifting. I feel ready to take on this bank holiday weekend. Maybe do a brief leg of the marathon. At least clean my car. This recovery timed perfectly at the close of proceedings! Double doh!!!!!!!!

Yeah he probably earns more in a month that Ben E King earned in his whole life. Something wrong there

Glad you're feeling better behan!

For some reason I thought Justin Bieber was old news! This is what happens when you don't have kids!.....I have no idea what's going on in the world of teen idols!!

I try not to think about Justin Bieber. Poseur. And that is a lot of money. For anyone. Not that I'll ever see that much.

Behan, I'm glad you turned the corner. I'm taking tomorrow off as a sick day. I feel guilty even asking because we are so short staffed but I was achy and running a fever this afternoon and can't breathe. I don't want to get everyone else sick.

Brain, I love golden raspberries! They're awesome. My parents have them in their yard and I prefer them by far to the red.

I'm playing around on my iPad. My mother in law is staying the night on our couch so TV is out. Rats. Maybe some ice cream.

Saoutchik, I'm not sure what a punnet is. I'll have to google it. But my daughter can eat an entire container of raspberries in a sitting. When she was about two we were visiting my grandfather and my mother had left a large bowl of raspberries on the kitchen counter. We were missing my daughter. We found her in the kitchen with the empty bowl and a smile on her face.

I never knew those plastic containers were called punnets. Now I know and have a new word for my vocabulary.

Glad you are feeling better, Behan.

Seriously? Bieber still makes that kind of money? It is times like these that I realize why I am so cynical about the world.

I've never had golden raspberries ...that sounds kinky for some reason....I don't even think I've ever seen them. I will keep a look out - maybe at the farmers market.
Ruby, I'm glad to hear that you are staying home tomorrow. Spring colds/viruses can be nasty. Tell your mother in law to cook for you and stay in bed. Chicken soup would be good.
beiber money is nuts. But a convicted wife beater earning 180 million on one fight is nuts too. I wonder how it feels to have lots of money.

So many Private Jets clogged the Las Vegas Airport last Saturday night, Authorities had to close it to any more Private Planes just before the Fight. The first 20 seconds of this Video shows the situation...

Get well soon Ruby ,

Money like that means we can end up trying to magic away problems just like we do with alcohol .
Learning how to be content with what i have , love the life i'm living is more attainable and within my power .

Morning,

Sorry you're not feeling well Ruby, take it easy today.

Glad you are feeling better Behan (shame it as during the working week)

Golden raspberries - aren't they an award for a bad movie or something?

Morning... Stupor Tuesday for me. The new name I have for this early morning workout. Stu Wednesday is next with the trainer dude. Followed by finally Friday and sadistic Saturday.

Well let's get to it. Won't be a stupor if I wake up anymore.

Good day everyone! Remember the lake Wobegon comment far earlier in the thread? Where the women are strong? And I commented because they have to be. Well I'm up and got kids ready for school. Mother in law still sleeping despite telling me she'd get them ready, fed and out the door. Mr. Ruby still on his relapse so only got himself out the door. At least I can breathe out of my nose today and I'm not running a fever. It's raining today so perfect day to lay around on couch watching bad TV. I bought some ginger yesterday so I'm thinking that, with some garlic in broth will be a good thing.

I'll be around here today. Bugging you all!!!!
