Talking 30 Days and Under Club

Hi All,

I'm new to SR--and being serious about my sobriety this time--so I figured I'd start a "30 Day and Under Club". The first 30 days is crucial so I'm creating a special club just for us. Hopefully, the veterans will stop by and show us a little extra love and support so we can make it past this milestone. (I'm sure they will--everyone on SR has been great so far!)

So, my fellow 30 Day and Under's, start posting and let us know how you're doing and what day you're on. Feel free to check in on a daily basis and definitely let us know when you get to Day 30, how you're feeling, and any words of advice you may have for your fellow newbies.

Also, I--or maybe a moderator once the thread get's popular?--will post this visitor message on your wall:
Congratulations!!! You made it to Day 30. You're awesome!! Keep up the good work.

I'll start us off...

I'm on Day 3. Day 30 seems soooo far away! -__-
Things are going well though--I've had very few cravings, but I know things may change when Day 7-14 rolls around. Or even Fri night! Oh well, one day at a time, right?

Hi SoberRunner

I moved this to Newcomers Forum..if the thread has enough legs it'll move to the Daily Support Forum after 500 posts.

Also, I--or maybe a moderator once the thread get's popular?--will post this visitor message on your wall:
Congratulations!!! You made it to Day 30. You're awesome!! Keep up the good work.
Might have to leave that to you

I would love to have the time to do that - but I don't.
I try to keep up and post congrats in the various threads, and I just about manage that

I also want to remind folks there is still a Class of April thread:

Day 24 here. So far, so good. 4 AA meetings a week, therapist every other week and nightly visits on SR seem to be doing the trick for me thus far. If and when things change, I'll change things.

The OP wasn't aware of the function of the April thread.
No harm no foul Sober Runner

Seeing as both threads cover common ground, they've asked for this thread to be closed.

Hope to see you all in the April thread if you're not there already
