How long does it take
Welcome to SR Vinomama! And congrats on making a great decision.
The "acute withdrawal" phase when you initially quit and your body is ridding itself physically of the alcohol normally takes several days, so you could still be feeling those effects. I had night sweats and a generally feeling of tiredness and just feeling crappy for probably almost a week. The amount or frequency that you drank is not always a good indicator of how withdrawals will be either.
If you do have health concerns it's never a bad idea to see your doctor to find out if you are deficient in any area, many alcoholics are deficient in some areas of nutrition too that can cause other problems.
The good news is that withdrawal itself is definitely only temporary.

My experience was 3-5 full days of feeling physically horrible and not sleeping.
After that I had a couple weeks of high-energy positivity. Then things leveled out for me.
At almost 3 months now, I've had a few ups and downs but nothing like the terrible physical feelings of those first few days.
It does get better. And at 4 days you may be over the worst of it. But, as Scott said, if you're concerned seeing a doctor is always a good idea.

Hi.
I thought it Profound when I was told I didn’t have to ever repeat this phase by simply not picking up the first drink. Of course I knew better and tried to prove that wrong. That led to a lot of misery.
BE WELL
