Thank you for all your responses. I can't go reminisce with my family tonight as everybody will be drinking, so this means a lot.

I'm taking comfort in the fact he didn't die thinking of me as a drunk.

I'm so sorry to hear this tom. I've experienced unexpected death as well it can rock you pretty good. If you need to talk/get angry whatever later on...we will be here to listen.
