I am on Day 9 too. Glad to see the same names popping up celebrating and not dropping out. Today I handled the challenge well. For the first time in sobriety I am traveling alone for work. I am currently in my hotel room alone drinking ice water. This is the time where I would have the full run of being able to hit a liquor store and drinking anything I wanted. At home in an effort to trick my wife I would stick with vodka, so she couldn't smell it and have a social glass or two of wine with her. On the road I'd get some whiskey! I do notice A LOT of alcohol ads in the lobby and just in general today. There were a lot of people toasting the day away in the hotel bar as well. I am not wavering, and am finding comfort in choosing to live. So... to all of you still in the fight, sleep well tonight, I toast to you all with a plastic cup of ice water from somewhere in south Florida!!! Cheers!!!
