It is hard for sure, turning that corner and realising the only thing predictable about our drinking is that the "buzz" that we dream of is forever elusive. It's not easy to let go, and God knows you've tried to dance that elusive dance.
But it's OK, eventually a peace comes and it just feels OK to not drink anymore.
