Thanks eddie, This seems to be a tough time, perhaps a time of deciding and growing up!

I spend time nearly every day feeling angry or in pain, or depressed.

You're welcome, (((((Kevin)))))!! I'm sorry you're struggling so. Do you have a sponsor yet? Working Steps? I really recommend it. That and making a gratitude list each day. Come and rejoin us on the Bedtime Gratitude Prayer thread. It helps me a lot. Hope your week gets better!!

No eddie I don't have a sponsor and I have been working the steps mostly on my own, with some help from another aa member. Hard to write a gratitude list at the moment, I am scared angry and in pain.

A party pooper eh.

That's why, to me anyway, it's important to make it a habit. Then, when things are rough, it comes more naturally. For instance, I'm really grateful that my sponsor had me get into that habit of making a gratitude list each night. Speaking of which, I need to check my gratitude thread.
