I want to thank everyone for the amazing support both in this thread and by PM/email.
You've both humbled and strengthened me.

I have a few irons in the fire but too tired to talk about anything much right now - just know tonight I'll sleep a lot easier for the love and support shown here.

Dee - what a situation. Sending thoughts, prayers and, yes, juju. I echo those who have asked if you have worked this issue through the legal system; is there a legal aid system in your location? In this country, it takes a significant amount of time to evict a tenant.
