man...i just love music.....all of it....i love classical to jazz to blues to muddy waters to keith richards, eddy van halen....god...its all just music to me.....im 59...prob a litlle older than you....but....i will give you some advice i learned a long long time ago........there is only 2 kinds of music......good....or bad

I took my last ever drink in December, I'll have four months in a few days.

I lost my job from drinking. Still don't know what's next. But I didn't drink when I found out I wasn't going back to work. I just figured I'm way better off not drinking. And I drank a lot.

Sounds like you would be a lot better too if you stop drinking. You have a lot going on - or did. Clean up and get back into music. Look how many of the 60's and 70's musicians got all f'd up and then turned it around. They cleaned up and got a new lease on life. You can do the same.

i am now embarked on my not so infrequent detoxes ....shaky as **** and um ...really not feeling so very good....few sleepless nights to look forward to also i suppose....sorry for the rant....see you all in a few days i suppose
