Hey y'all - sooo it's Saturday night here and I have officially hit my 2 week mark onwards and upwards and all that. Anyways after dinking my car into the most miserable woman in Surrey (aaaargh) and covering my cuz-inlaw in wine (I had bought her one whilst I sipped a redbull) I have made it into bed for an early night - kids are kipping and I will be soon too

Hope everyone's doing well this Saturday

I'll be quitting the cigs too as of Monday so will be totes miserable

Xxxxx

I just quit on Thursday, so I feel your pain. I had tried to quit before too. Maybe doing it on your own isn't the answer, maybe you should take yourself to the hospital and detox there and get an assessment and go from there? We all have to do it our own way I know, but at least you came looking for support!!! I keep thinking I have quit drinking so all that stuff that I did when I was drinking should be automatically fixed, but the kids are still bugging me, the housework is still not getting done and I don't feel strong enough to do anything. I understand the frustration!!! Hang in there!

Day 3. Not so miserable, but boredom is definitely an issue. I HAVE to find something I love to do (other than drink).

Hi Pamel - I find I reading helps - do you read? Oh and painting helps me de-stress - it's an old hobby I am currently playing around with . Good luck to you - I only said to my hubby the other day how much time is freed up by not drinking and how I'm currently trying to fill it all cxxxxx

Thanks JustSarah, I do need to find a good book. That always does help. Sort of a sleepless night here...
