I just re-read my post today and I noticed it may have come off as kind of preachy. I had just gotten back from a really good BB study meeting and I was riding that wave. Yes I had a "sobriety high" going and it felt good. 
I had someone come up to me after the meeting to tell me they had an "ah ha" moment when I was sharing, and it always gives me a warm feeling when I know I may have helped another. I get them here and in meetings all of the time and each one helps me grow a little. It doesn't matter how much time someone has or what type of recovery program they use, I can always learn from others. So my post last night wasn't really preachy, it was the byproduct of my personal recovery program working in my life. It was the excitement of being sober and happy today instead of drunk and miserable 3 months ago. It was sharing what has worked for me.
