My name is Rena' and I'm an alcoholic. I have been sober for 4 months. This is my first time to post here. I have been reading some of the message boards, and everyone seems to be very nice and supportive of each other. It seems like a good place to be, for someone like me that is new to recovery. You guys rock!! You have made me feel at home already and I just started reading this section of the forum. I am so pleased that you all care so much for eachother. I want to feel that for me. I'm sober for almost 10 years but now and again I do tend to think about the old Hawaiian ways under the coconut tree with a cooler of beer and some teriyaki on the fire with the faint smell of salt off the ocean breeze. (homesick).... anyway now that I reside in Nevada, I just do what I gotta do. stay strong, levelheaded and talk to you to give me strength I need and maybe I can help you too.......
