Hi all, I'm Sue, I am very new to this whole thing ...I am not even sure if I am in the right place, if not sorry to waste your time.....
I was married to an alcoholic for 6 years...he died 2 weeks ago...I went to my first Al Anon meeting sunday, and found such comfort and peace...first to know I'm not alone....second that everyone there was telling my life story!!! I NEED some help.....and dont know how, where to go and what to do...again sorry if I am in the wrong place.

You will want to start a new thread in the Al-Anon forum, then others who are in the same boat will be able to be there for you. There is alot of support and love here at SR.

Welcome Rena, Dona and Sue, you are in a good and safe place with lots of love. Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation, that is so sad. Please take heart in the fact that through the midst of your grief, you may have just saved a life today with that post. I am an alcoholic that has drank for 24 years, quit twice and just relapsed. 24 hours sober again. Your post shows us our demise if we think about that first one. Thank you for that!!!! God bless you for that!!!
