Stay sober weekend thread - June 21 - 23!

Great posts everyone! I love to picture in my mind each and every one of you doing the things you write about! Easy to do when you're sober!!
Busy day today.. Greasy egg and bacon breakfast.. YUM
Dog walk and swim to tire them out..
Worked on a beautification project around the yard, cutting out sticker bushes, raking up old bits of wood, hauling them off.
Chickens got out so chased them around to get them back in.
Picked some garden stuff.
Picked up rocks and sticks to mow.
and then the BEST PART OF ALL!!! A dinner party.. First SOBER one EVER!!! Yippee!!
And the best part of that was I had a really good time and didn't even miss the alcohol.
This is my first FULL weekend of not drinking in a least 15 years..
I'm so proud of myself, but I'm also really proud of all of you. Thanks for all your help/posts/thoughts and prayers.
You're all in mine!!

It's now after midnight which means I made it through the weekend! Looks like you all did too!!!
I got a little down driving home tonight but then I was thinking how nice it's gonna be to wake up without a hangover tomorrow & be able to put in a productive day of work unlike this past Friday when I was sick & dragging all day due to the previous nights drinking.
I am so thankful right now

Cruised through the weekend no alcoHELL thoughts at all only pity for people that still have to drink. Things have really got easier of late. Think by knowing I am done with it forever is one of the reasons.

Hey folks! I had the best weekend in a long time.... I did mess up late Sunday. See my thread... But I am here and want that great sober feeling back.
