So ... one way I show I will do whatever it takes is: I do not spend ANY time with anyone who works against my sobriety.

How about you?
I too have absolutly no time to spend with those that intoxicate themslves. Its a wasted time to engorge at best.

I LOVE going to daily meetings AND being of SERVICE in my daily life. I look out for people in my meetings that have what I want, and I LISTEN to their wisdom. I have THE BEST 'teacher' for the Big Book Study, yes J.A. You are the best!!" We are NOT a glum lot". u. Lastly, I am incredibly grateful that I get to live in a Sober Home. Our home with my husband of 25 years, and our son (21), both of who got "it" years before me!

exercise in order and enjoying the little things, appreciating the moment. Also knowing recovery is a 100% personal thing.

One thing I do is watch this clip about commitment from The Untouchables.
Sean Connery schools Kevin Costner about REAL commitment.

I will do whatever it takes to stay sober and one way I show that is by reminding myself everyday how bad it all really was.

I will do whatever it takes to stay sober and one way I show that is by learning about recommendations for recovering addicts and following them.

I do not allow any of my addictive voices or feelings to go unnoticed and unchanged. If I realize I had an addictive thought ("I'd love a drink") I stop it immediately and tell myself "No you don't. You don't drink." and I move on with the next thing in my day.

One way I stay sober is by going to Yoga class several times a week. I took 23 classes in the last 40 days. The AV has been nearly silenced. AA wasn't for me, so Yoga and SR are my main support.

By going to places I used to drink and ordering a diet coke or coffee and being proud when I tell people NO thanks.

Also by exercising in the morning and night for me it really helps me reduce the stress of the day in a positive way.
