((((Elite)))))
I am sorry you are in pain. And so happy you made the decision to get sober. Very happy to see you here. You are not alone, we are all on your side.

See your Doctor and tell them everything honestly.

That should be a sticky.

Hi Elite,

I am glad you have an appointment with your doctor tomorrow, and it is great that you took the time to think through how much you had been drinking. If you feel really bad tonight I would go to the ER. Also, nothing wrong with taking a mental/physical health day tomorrow if you can get in to see your doctor earlier.

I made the decision to stop drinking Thursday, October 11th after polishing off a large bottle of wine. (This was far from the first time I had said I am going to stop drinking, especially when I was drunk!) anyway, I called in sick the next day and made an appointment with the chemical dependency unit of my insurance. Saw a doctor and a therapist.

I am still in early sobriety (52 days) but it is the longest sober time I have since my son was born five years ago.

Let us know how things go tomorrow.
