The UK is on GMT and it seems you are on Paciific time, like me. So GMT is +8 hours.

In the morning. I'm at my desk, would rather be at home!

I fall asleep just fine, it's the waking early in the am that bugs me. This morning I woke up at five am! Bah!

Well, I seem to be resident of insomnia land now:

Insomnia, insomnia,
Little beast inside my mind.
I am struggling, I am fighting -
No sleep and no wine.

Where’s Morpheus? Welcome, dear!
I’ve been waiting so long.
Tell me story, come on here,
And perform a cradle song.

Guard my dreams and bring me slumber,
Hold my sleeping in your hands.
Sheep is passing - What’s your number?
And the night already ends.

hey coolfitz all your ideas are good. when i do sleep lately which isn't very much i'm having insane nasty nightmares -- not so much scary as sickening -- so being awake in bed doesn't seem too bad. awake in bed at least i'm safe, sober & (relatively) sane.
