Stay strong, I had wino wednesdays as well, two bottles of Rose after work every Wednesday (and most other nights actually). After deciding to change my life after hitting rock bottom, one Wednesday night it really all started to change, I got home from work & didn't even think about drinking, when I realized at about 10.30pm that I hadn't had a drink and didn't actually pace the house rubbing my hands together until I got one, I prayed to God for the strength to do this every night, 8 days later I quit for good.
March 29th was the day I quit and now life is so much better, I have new friends through Church that support and keep in touch everyweek checking I'm doing Ok and offering help.
Once you've admitted there is a problem and made that decision to sort it all out life can start to get better.
Have a listen to the this link, music formed a big part of my recovery, inspiring songs to play at low moments can do wonders.

Hang in there. Take a bath, mop the floors, throw in a load of wash.....just distract yourself . It does get easier....but that first 3-7 days was the hardest for me. You won't regret NOT drinking tonight in the morning!
Ok for now, I started stressing in the car about not numbing anymore and then started thinking about everything, I am not that fond of having to feel all this stuff!
