Why your screen name and does it have meaning of some kind?

Now weasel1966 is not there so I can be named after a small woodland creature.

My partner gave me that nick name when we first dated. It stuck. It was actually weaselman which got shortened over the years. The number is my birth year.

I was trying to be clever. MIRecovery is pronounced MyRecovery and the MI is for Michigan. I do believe it is "my recovery." I am doing it for me and no one else

Misguided

I couldn't think of anything other than my normally used names, but wanted to remain anonymous.

I was listening to "Misguided Ghosts" by Paramore. I relate to the song a lot and I have been misguided at times...so there it was. I was very shocked it wasn't already taken. :p

Very creative names. I've often wondered myself.
Mine comes from the fact that I have always lived Just 4 Now without any thoughts to consequences (getting me into this mess) combined with the realization that I have to fix what I have done by not drinking Just 4 Now to get me out of it (this time considering consequences).

I had a very special person in my past who lived in North Carolina and she called me her Colorado Man. The relationship didn't work out but the screen name has stuck for various sites for as many years as there has been an internet.

FreeFall

I was NoFireWater (had to change due to email glitch with account) because my boyfriend always used to say he and fire water didn't mix and it made me laugh the way he said it.

I chose FreeFall for new name because being sober is like a freefall, you feel like a weight has been lifted, but you have no idea what the landing will be like. Trying to enjoy the journey and hoping for a safe landing!
