I know I can live
Free! from the dope shame and guilt
Today and always.
I know that I can live free from dope and the shame and guilt that comes with being an active user. And I know that I don't want it anymore so I keep on trying to stay clean no matter what my mind may tell me. I ignore the thoughts: small ones , big ones, cause in my heart I know that I don't want the dope anymore. I look towards the future and me being able to say hey I have been sober for 20 years and no relapses. Until then I keep on trying. I will get my superbowl - soon cause I am working hard to get there. Don't ever give up cause you too can have that clean and sober time JUST DON'T EVER GIVE UP. FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT !

LIVING SOBER NOW
I was once a lost person in my addiction, but I fought my way here to the CASTLE beyond the goblin city and crack houses, and I am now a great Mother, a great daughter and a great student ( cause i decided to go back to school AND I made the DEANS LIST with 2-A's and -B's) No matter what I was then, Now is what counts. And my goals are a little different now than they were before - I want to stay clean and sober, I want to take care of MY responsibilties. And I am doing something about it. I get up each morning with gratitude to the LORD that I woke up. That I CAN get up and I am doing something with my time. Sobriety takes time. I never saw myself where I am today, although I am not completely where I want to be at least I am not at all where I used to be. Thank You God for that. Don't ever give up. No matter how you are feeling, it will pass. A ray of light will show through, someday. Have a good day everyone. Success to you all seeking and maintaining sobriety.Just keep on FIGHTING A GOOD FIGHT.
