I know plenty of people too who can drink a skin-full and still have no dependancy. Just be honest about how you feel. Comparing your drinking to others won't offer you any help, if you came here thinking you have a problem, you most likely do.

I definitely have a problem but I think drinking in a symptom of the problem.
I'm going to a Reiki session today and I am also working on my anxiety problems.

Just glanced over the thread, and it seems you want us to justify your experiment. I'm sorry, but I can't. I hope for the best for you, and you know where to go if/when it becomes too much for you, again.

Do you drink alcohol for the effects it gives you? If not, then you will have no problem substituting a non-alcoholic beverage in its place. Why take the risk(s) otherwise?

I think i am on the wrong forum. I had my Reiki today and it was the most unusual experience i have ever had, it felt spiritual not in just feeling but also visually while my eyes were closed, by the way i am not a spiritual person. Apparently it takes a day or 2 for full mental and physical effects. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Cool! I've heard about so many interesting experiences people have with reiki. Do come back and check in... we are not trying to make you "one of us..." (lol), although it may seem that way sometimes. We really we do care what happens to the people who post here, even if they decide that SR isn't working or isn't the right place.
