Desperado, you could go to an AA meeting and face your fear of socializing with a room full of folks who have the same problem as you. Learn more about the disease from newcomers and oldtimers alike, and get all the good advice and encouragement that you can carry out of the room.... and all that for a $1.00 in the hat (free coffee included)
