I hope one day soon you can look back on the dumpster incident and realize the power Alcohol had over you and how you BEAT it. I look back in amazement at the lengths I went to to drink. I'm so happy that Monkey is off my back.

Now its up to you to take control of your life and get some help! Believe it or not it CAN and WILL get worse. Make today the day you make the insanity stop.

Best Wishes To You! :ghug3

Just out of curiosity, have you considered going to a few AA meetings or maybe looking into other recovery programs out there? From reading your posts I can see that you recognize the problem, but I haven't seen any mention of a solution. Perhaps I missed something.

I guess my question is this: Do you have any sort of plan in mind or are you gonna keep stashing loose cans in the dumpster, hoping this problem will just go away?

I DO NOT want this thread to become AA or no AA!!!

That is NOT my intention.......I can only say, after watching no doubt thousands of people struggle here at sr for the past 8 years, as well as those IN AA who struggle needlessly, it is always the same from my experience.

It is because they do NOT have a specific detailed written plan for their new life.

In most cases they will not accept help (virtually always fear based) from one who HAS walked this path successfully as a result of a specific detailed written plan.

AA or not......get qualified assistance, I KNOW I still need it!!!

Jus' sayin'.......

(Please remember, this is NOT an AA or no AA post. Do you part, pls don't make it 1!)

Being an alcoholic makes us all do things we are not proud of. I know I have.
