anyone go to AA/NA/or any other meetings??
Lilly03,
I had the same fears about meetings. I even sat outside some watching the people go in before I got the courage up to go in.
I go to AA, but lots of the people there say they are addicts & alcoholics or some say co-addicted.
I also had the same thoughts that I won't fit in roaming thru my head.
It is such a relief now to go to the meetings. I feel such a burden lifted just being around others with the same disease as me.
I am newer and I mostly just listen but have gained so much.
You mentioned you are a student & I am amazed at all the younger people there.
I hope you were able to go or will be able soon
