Beligerent,
I'm so sorry for your loss and what you must be going through. We all deal with bereavement in a different way.
I was 19 when my Mum and Dad became seriously ill and died soon after. It was during that time I STARTED drinking really out of control. It is only now, 30 years later, that I'm sober.
I never even mourned properly. Sober wishes from me to you all the way.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

Sorry to hear about that. My tip: Think of your mom as a guardian angel that will help you stay sober and make your recovery easier.

Your post made me cry, I am so sorry for your loss. I am also so proud of you for not drinking, your last memory your mother had of you was clean and sober, that is something to be grateful for.
