Welcome aboard, HP. It is helpful for me to realize that alcohol isn't the problem for me; it is the solution. That's why I want to turn to the bottle when I'm upset, sad, happy... (you name it)... booze sets all things right. My problem isn't alcohol. If I fight the bottle, I'm fighting the wrong battle. Big question: What is my problem? The answer is in the first 164 pages of our primary text, and the solution is in the 12 Steps.
