I would love to go. I would probably go by myself if i needed to just get away and have some me time.

I did the same thing today! Needed to just get away for a couple of hours and getting away via drinking is not an option any more. I saw "Up in the Air"...and I came back feeling much more sane

hi nan, i went to the movies a lot in early recovery, i always loved movies anyway, but found it really helpful to 'escape' and gain strength.

i hadnt heard of that movie but have heard a bit about it lately, let me know what it is like.. and i am with ro wouldnt it be great if we could all go together!

avatar is my next one to see , but that is with cousins, aunts etc..

It was a cute movie. A nice getaway. I can see that being the 2nd best escape from the craving of the drink.

I recently saw "Blindside" with Sandra Bullock. OMG! What an awesome movie. Bring tissues. Its happy. Its sad. Is oh so inspiring!!

ANyway i think its good to take some time for ourselves... especally this time of year when it is expected for us to be socialable

Im gonna take some time today to look round the neighbourhood... there is a marina across the street and i havent seen it yet..
