Pls take special care of yourself right now. Focus on getting well and do only what you must do "for today" - the other stuff is secondary to you getting well.
Try to focus on staying positive and keeping it as simple as possible. Too much expectation and worry is self-defeating for your well-being.
Being penniless and sober during the holidays is richer in so many more ways than the alternative...

I've jumped in other peoples cars before Marie - and I was sober every time 
Things do get better - I was where you are 3 years ago. I just couldn't do that anymore - I had to try sobriety.
It's not been easy, but its the best thing I ever did
