Codeine, it's a nasty and insidious drug. Started using it for physical pain then I realised it numbed my emotional pain from being raped [i posted a tread about it]. Trying to wean myself off. Getting a lot of love and support here at SR.

This site will help me to save my life.

Alcohol and cocaine (smokable or injectable) are what I poisoned myself with.

But the root of my problems is ego.

My thinking, if/when I don't put recovery first.

When I had poisonous thinking I tried to use drugs & alcohol as the antidote.

alcohol and ciggarettes - I only smoked when I drank but I would smoke about a pack... so gross!! AND smoking made me want to drink more.
