Newly pregnant daughter called me in tears. She hasn't had the energy to clean their apt for a week and it was a mess. I came over and washed a week's worth of dishes, cleaned up the kitchen, and vacuumed the place. Now she can eat something and just laze around the rest of the evening.
Nice to be able to drive over there and not worry about hitting anyone or anything. Nice to not be half drunk and actually be able to go over there and help her out! I love being sober! I'm such a better person this way.
