Yea, I know things are tough all over !
Seems like fall has some really fond memories for me and I was usually with someone special or my dead tour friends and "extended family" I really get to missing all of that.

I ran into this little 20 something (female) who does alot of traveling when I went into Boston for the Bruins game and it really got my feet itching to do some.....traveling.

I was just talking with some AA friends and it really helps w all the bs of the first year.
I really dont count a couple of days (yea I know the program does) of drinking because comparitively speaking I have been clean and sober for 99.999% more of the time than I used to be and for me that is quite an accomplishment.
If it werent for the 2 days I would have a full year sometime this week. Udderly miraculous in my mind since before I couldnt even imagine a day or a couple of days with out a drink/drunk or getting high....
Even though you all are out in cyberspace your support has been momentus in keeping me sober and somewhat sane....

Thanks frst.

We don't actually need anything really. Just a kitchen table that's big enough for all of us to eat at, at the same time. And I will be getting a NEW one! I've already espied the one I want... it's not too expensive and since it's the only furniture we'll be buying I think we can splurge and get something new.

Eventually we'll be needing a dining room set too... but I hate cutesy matchy old lady stuff and that room will one of last to worry about.

We'll make do with the stuff we have and concentrate on painting and cosemetic stuff like that and puttign in the 2nd bathroom. Now that, is a necessity!!!

What I need is a closing date and the KEYS dammit!

Will do ananda.

I am here now, and I'm fine. Still sore though. Argh. It was a long weekend of extra yoga classes.

I have to go to the 7:30 class to assist later as my last "assignment" :bounce... and I'm actually skipping the 6pm class. Imagine that. Listening to my body. My back & hamstrings are sore and that shoulder ache I still have? Yup... still aching.

I may be calling the orthopedist for an appointment. If I get around to it, I'll make that call tomorrow. I have to plan a kids class for my sons class tomorrow afternoon and since his b'day is Wednesday... I will have to bake cupcakes to send to school at some point during tomorrow along with my yoga & meditation class I go to.

I also have to check with the church for some paperwork for the teen to sponsor my niece for her confirmation. Can't do it till Tuesday. The deacon dude isn't in today.

Gotta plan a class for the Thursday night subbing gig too.

Mr. GT spoke to the state people about the tank removal paperwork. They can't locate it... it may have been done w/o a permit . They're looking into it though... crossing fingers. Meanwhile, I tracked down the woman that used to live with the gay guy that used to live here previously. She said she'd see if he still has the paperwork. That was Friday and she didn't say yay or nay yet but it's something anyway. A possibility they find it.

Where's PD? Check in yet???

I have to go stretch out on the bed for a few minutes. Not nap... just lay down, or is that lie?

Dee ?

So far so good Nuno.

They accepted the bid, signed contracts and are out of attorney review. Now we have about a week left to get the house inspected (structural, electrical, termite, radon etc). And the pool. We have a little leeway with that inspection. Then Mr. GT gets his ass to the bank and gets his loan and we're set. Except that the old lady won't close on the house when we wanted, which is before Thanksgiving. So we have to wait until January to actually get the keys to start moving.

Hey Gyps - I bought two neti pots - one for me, one for my sis. And my Staff/Sgt just bought one since he's got a cold. He loves it!
