Update on Gram and Cam
I guess I'm a poet and didn't know it... "Lame"
Gram was back in the hospital with some very painful colon probs. She was only there for one night, and then sent back to my moms again. She loves to be at my moms, but my feelings are that they are sending her home too quickly because she is old and taking up a bed. I know that sounds awful, but I cannot help how I feel.
I took care of her today after I took my mother for a proceedure that was going to leave her drowsy for awhile.
Gram is barely eating, nothing yesterday, very little today. It is very hard for me to grasp that it may not be much longer.
As far as Cam, my son, he has spent the last two days home from school. He is still having pain from his kness down on both legs, the swelling comes and goes. We had him back to the doctor yesterday and there is still blood in his urine, even though all weekend he drank tons of water. He is pale, dark under his eyes, dizzy, weak and fatigued. They took several more blood tests yesterday and he will be going for a kidney imaging this weak. OMG Im scared, but staying strong.
My fibro is still acting up and I am having problems with the IBS and shingles. My shingles do not get out of hand because I take a preventative dose of acyclover (sp) 2 each day. I am doubling doses know and they are still breaking through.
Thank you all for your prayers, and please continue praying.
Love,
Suzette

I've heard that God never gives us more than we can handle Suzette, but boy He sure pushes us sometimes, huh? You've got amazing strength, I wish I had 1/2 of that. Prayers going out for you and your loved ones.
Still sending prayers. Hang in there.
I don't know if you know this but the shingles really "breaks out" on you when you are in stress. You have to find some time for you to destress. It sounds like you have too much on your plate now and your body is letting you know that it's time to rest up. Is there any way for you to take mini-breaks until you can get some relief?

kj3880 - I know I have alot on my plate, but taking a break now would add to my stress.
I do know that stress activates shingles. Last ime I was really sick with them all over my back was shortly after I quit drinking. I remember thinking WTF shouln't I be feeling better now. LOL
I guess we just have to take the good with the bad.

Im so sorry about Cam, I hope he gets better soon. As far as your grams and being sent home prematurely from the hospital, I will save my tirade against the health care system, Im too tired. Prayers going out to you all.
Hey TM - I have to agree with Felly on this one! That really sucks regarding your gram. Hopefully this health care system will change soon, but I am not going to hold my breath. I am still praying for your gram and your son and of course, you! Very proud of your determination and your strength.

Still sending you prayers! Hope they find out something soon with Cam-I know the feeling
that can arise from "the waiting".
Keep taking that bath! Light a few candles and shut off the lights-and breathe!

Wow Robby! Thanks!
That made my day a little bit brighter. You're so sweet!

Update on Cam.
He went to school this morning but came home after 2nd period, in pain.
He is having his renal ultrasound today at 4:00. His doctor is wasting no time in treating him, so hopefully answers will come quickly.
