How old were you when you quit?I've been sober for 6 days this time around. I went the longest when I was 25 - I lasted 6 months.

How old were you when you realized drinking was a problem for you? It has always been a problem - a 100 pound girl shouldn't be able to drink the jocks under the table at 16 years old. It got really bad at 22 I'd say. Then I started drinking every night when I was 24.

How old were you when you quit? 3 weeks shy of my 36th birthday and I had to literally die to quit drinking. And to stay quit, AA saved my azz.

numbers huh.....well here goes

I'm 34.
somedays feel 60ish
act 20
addict since early teens
quit at 16, 18, 20 etc etc.
off and one from then til 31 when pills came into the picture.
34 when I quit. (30+days ago)
today feel........a solid 25 I'd say.
and that feels pretty good.

I realized I had a problem at 31.

I am so greatful for my sobriety.

I was 20 when i quit the first time. 27 when i quit the second time.
i started "professionally" (hands and knees) when i was 15. i realized immeadiatly it was a problem for me.
