Bottoms Part 76
Hmm, it all seems very odd in here although I quite like the whole space for rent advert. It also makes me glad that the worse weather we get is the odd flood here and there. I shall continue to monitor events in here with interest.
Hey Jules
How is life in not so sunny New Zealand? We are at the start of the English summer and it has done nothing but rain here today. At least the garden got watered so I didn't have to do it.
I think honours are even from the NZ tour of England this summer, twas some good cricket played though.

Ah fair do's D.
Your one day team is good but as a test playing nation they are a bit rubbish Jules., we are the other way around. You should like rugby since your rabble are the best at it.
A quick question whilst there are a few people are on. How hard was it to your first AA meeting and did you just turn up to an open one?

Hey wooli~
Just to let you know, I did not become an AA person in the end. However, even though my first meeting was a bit rough (felt exposed, confused, out of my element), it was a great relief to listen to other people speak about things that had previously seemed like my own personal insanity. The meetings were a great help in the beginning, as they were safe places to be and I no longer felt so alone. If they work for you, by all means go for it!

I phoned the AA hotline and a couple of guys came and took me to my first meeting....well actually I went to my very first one some time before that psychotically drunk but I don't count that one.
They are nothing to be scared of wooli, just go and sit there, you don't have to talk if you don't want to.
