Hi, I am new here.

Hello, I have just found this forum and hoping it could be a new haven for me in my recovery.

Im in England and relatively new to recovery, despite a little relapse I am currently on day 5 now and feel I can get there this time.

I am actively part of AA and just working towards beating this!

I've been in rehab three times this year. Relapsed too many times to count and always felt like dirt afterward. This time I feel differently, despite a bumpy start after coming home, maybe cause I'm taking AA more seriously than I did before. My problem was wanting to do things 'my way' and be 'in charge' and that just didn't work. I am working on surrendering completely and finding the meetings very helpful in keeping stress levels down.

You've come to a good place!:ghug

Welcome. I'm new here as well. This is a great place. I come here everyday now. Congrats on your 5 days. I haven't been able to do that since Dec 07, when I relapsed after my pregnancy. I will keep trying and hopefully you will share on your journey...keep posting.
