I've got my AA meeting tonight, looking forward to it - it's been a long, hard couple of weeks here, but I'm still sober.
Are you still heading to the Dr tomorrow?

I havent been to an AA meeting yet. I am going as soon as I get back to the States. I have been using this site as well as another to keep inspired. Its helping me to stay sane right now. I have no one to confide in and I am in a country that doesnt speak English, so I am at the mercy of my computer. lol. Thanks for all the encouragement.

Icarus7 - why don't you make your own thread, and introduce yourself so that everyone here can get to know you and your story, or at least offer some support.
I think a lot more people will know you're here that way!

I struggled through some of it, got some diazepam on Monday - works on some withdrawl syptoms but don't like it much! Zombie....
Its not over yet but think I can see the light if I look hard lol
