My Daily Dose...
...of Sober Recovery. I thought of calling this thread My Daily Fix...but, changed my mind for obvious reasons.
Anyway, since I don't always have time to read and post everywhere I'd like, I just thought I'd have a quick way of jumping on and saying, "I'm here...hope you are, too...have a great day!"
I plan to stop by here, no matter what else I have time for. Hope others will, too.

Hi, Friends!
Just wanted to share from my "Each Day a New Beginning" (a gift on my 4th AA Anniversary):
The difficult spells in our lives come to an end. And, no matter the depth of our disturbance, we will survive. We forget that the depths teach us how to better appreciate the heights.
BTW...leg is healing, slowly but surely. Thanks for asking.

Almost missed February 29th!
Would have had to wait another four years!
I think whatever intestinal bug was traveling through the home caught up with me last night. Not feeling sick today...just a bit "out of it". We're expecting snow again tomorrow.
Enjoy the weekend, friends.

So far, March seems to have come in like a purring kitty... ...and, nobody seems to mind! I dunno...we used to enjoy trudging through knee-deep snow drifts. I think the more advanced we've become, the more spoiled we've become. Waddaya think!?!
Have a great Sunday!!!
(Hmmmmn...was it my talent that led me to all those dark places? And, here I thought it was the alcoholism!)

Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads.

Most kids hear what you say; some kids do what you say; but all kids do what you do.

I'm really enjoying these quotes myself, and am happy to pass them on.

It is good to have an end to journey towards; but, it is the journey that matters, in the end.

I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday, and I love today.
(I'll trust that each day of my life will bring me good. I will share this idea with at least one friend.)
