Bottoms Up, Folks!?!
HALLOWEEN BROOM JOKE FOR JERSEY!
Two brooms were hanging in the closet and after a while they got to know each other so well, they decided to get married.
One broom was, of course, the bride broom, the other the groom broom.
The bride broom looked very beautiful in her white dress. The groom broom was handsome and suave in his tuxedo. The wedding was lovely.
After the wedding, at the wedding dinner, the bride-broom leaned over and said to the groom-broom, 'I think I am going to have a little whisk broom!!!'
“IMPOSSIBLE !!' said the groom broom. Are you ready for this? Brace yourself; this is going to hurt........
“WE HAVEN'T EVEN SWEPT TOGETHER!'
(Sounds to me like she's been 'sweeping' around!!)

Morning, Rella...who you callin' an idiot!?! We're alcoholics!!!
Don't eat too much of that candy corn...it's addictive!!! I figure I'll be in sugar shock by the end of the day.

One can never have too much chocolate!
No problem, Rella...you can get lost in this thread anytime.
I'm back in the regular wheelchair to try to keep the leg elevated. I feel like Blanche Du Boise (Streetcar Named Desire), depending on the kindness of strangers to move from place to place. Bummer!

The old alcoholic sensitivity reared its ugly head yesterday. I was the only one of all the 200+ patients who got dressed up, and didn't even receive honorable mention when the staff did their costume parade. Not very nice, in my opinion.
Back in the regular wheelchair again, but not for long...back to bed after lunch. Looks like I have a huge purple balloon on the side of my leg. Oh, I'm changing doctors, too, since the one I have has never bothered to come in for a look-see.

I was going to be a Gypsy fortune teller, complete with taro cards, and go around telling fortunes. But, my sister beat me to it and bought me a headband with two witches heads sticking up from it, spider earrings, a pretty orange shirt with Happy Halloween written in sequins. My aide gave me orange and black socks for my birthday. I wore black pants...it all just looked very colorful.
I was pretty good...didn't over-indulge...so, no sugar shock this year.
