My First Thread
Welcome Lilybug,
I know about that 10,000 lb weight! I think we all really do feel that way from time to time, especially at first. Just keep sober, keep posting & going to meetings, and try to be kind to yourself. If you can, take the things that are weighing heavily on you one at a time. Take things one moment at a time, if it can't be one day at a time. You don't have to work everything out right this second. It will come, as you get your strength and learn how to deal with it. Blessings to you!

I posted this another thread yesterday, but here it is for you today...
The Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
The first three steps of AA:
# 1 We admitted we were powerless over alcohol/drugs --that our lives had become unmanageable.
# 2 Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
# 3 Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
Blessings, K

Call someone!! Attend a meeting......call a relative......... Talk to the wall..............get it out.........you will feel soooooooooooo much better

Beautiful baby! Talk w/ the counselor at IOP. My daughter is currently attending one and they will refer to MD for help. They added another small dose of a different antidepressant at bedtime and she is sleeping like a baby!
God bless you and keep you,
susan
