Morning all of you
There are tests..part of life...I don't like them. But what i can tell you is none of us are walking througth them alone...
WE are travelin together..When we share and post we can be certain others will be carryng us through and walkin with us. We carry their thoughts with us and they carry us through their thoughts and their prayers.

Well......here we are still in LA. Sitting on the floor of a terminal somewhere - I have no idea. Our plane broke. We sat on it for three hours. Then got off. That was 24 hours ago. Hotels within 35 miles of airport fully booked. Children shattered. So am I.
We have been put on a different airline and hope to leave late tonight. Will be 50 hours to get home.
I have had enough guys. Thoughts starting to get morose and "let's just give up on life" again. I dreamt of drinking when I finally nodded off at 3pm last night. I got that old feeling after one big glass of red. You know the feeling that I don't get anymore? It's hard right now.
People have been both wonderful and completely despicable.

Hey hun...love ya tons...your post came across with such a vibe, i felt your love for SR, don't ask me why....
you know pilgrim, i want to tell you a positive side to your trip, i don't know why you traveled to La...i haven't traveled in 5 years..these are crucial days in a man's life, and every time my bus passes by the airport to drop people, i get so sad, because i really do want to travel....hearing you talk about airports, makes me dream to travel maybe in some time....with my age, my dad had been all over the world..depression took a lot of my dreams...i expect to get them back, and i will love to wait on the airport..lol..it means i am going to fly once again...!...when my family was happy we used to go to a bunch of places..so when we stopped traveling it meant something had changed...so if you can get some people and travel, it's a good sign sometimes...
i can't imagine the sate of the bathrooms after 50 hours of people in and out...lol..

Still here. Still on the floor. We may get out on the 11.15pm flight but we won't know until 10.30. It's a bit of a long way home with stops and stuff but at least we would be heading in the right direction. Fingers and toes crossed huh?

Maybe this will help..my auto was reposessed on June 7...
The day before my one year sobriety date. I shared on the site..Rusty Z
told me that night that in a meeting someone shared that their young cousin.
A man who just got married..was killed in a car crash..
may have been some hidden meaning for the repo.
Pilgrim..what if you and your family had boarded that plane and it had left
the ground? We just never know..
We all would rather have you home late than not at all!
Love you, thankful you are safe, and
Never give up or give in.
Don't lave right before the miracle happens.

Hi Guys
I have been awake for so long and the floor is so hard. I was ok for a long time and grateful that the fault didn't happen in the air and all that but ..... I am scared. I am a single Mum trying to get half way across the world and I can't get home. This is horrible.
PS Laurie - I like living in Wellington although the weather is pretty bad. I like that there are no queues and not many people. At the moment it gets dark around 5.45 but in Summer, it gets dark around 9.30pm. xx
