I have 180 days today. One hundred and eighty blimey days! And in two days I will have six months sober! That is a whole half year!

Weather is great here today, 20 degrees C and not a cloud in sight. Had a fleeting thought of bubbles on the veranda, but I am certainly not going to throw away 180 days of hard work because the weather is nice!

Thank you, Dee and Peke!

Something has happened within me. This is the fourth day where I haven't been on an emotional roller coaster with pangs of anxiety. I feel stronger, braver, more confident, more able, and I love it SO MUCH! Sobriety is the new normal now, and I am so grateful for that. I kinda want to say thanks to myself for putting in the hard work.

I'm so sorry about Molly. I adore the promise you made to her, I still talk to my late dog and tell her how proud she would be of me for finally quitting.
